Originally launched in 1961, this jewel continues to strengthen the legacy of the Faema Legend. In 1961, Faema writes an important page of its history and that of espresso coffee machines: it launches an absolutely innovative machine on the market, the E61. In fact, this is the first time a pump has been used to create the correct pressure necessary to produce the perfect Italian espresso! The E61 also features other revolutionary devices which includes its renowned thermal balancing system, which has aided in establishing Faema machines as the global representatives of the ideal Italian espresso. Exactly 40 years after the birth of the legendary E61, Faema introduces its newest edition: the E61 Legend. The E61 Legend has maintained the revolutionary stainless steel design of its celebrated predecessor, but enriches its technical capabilities with features such as the built-in volumetric pump, which allows for significant space optimization, the programmable thermal balancing system and beverage selection, or the LED illuminated back display. With the backing of history and the technological innovation of modernity, the Jubilé seamlessly combines both the old and the new to guarantee consistency without sacrificing quality.

Faema E61

In 1961 Faema unveiled the E61, which revolutionized the way espresso was brewed across the globe. This legendary machine is widely considered to be the most influential espresso machine of all time thanks to the addition of volumetric pumps, and it's famous group head. These pumps enabled the machine to keep constant pressure during the extraction process which resulted in a perfect espresso, unlike the lever based machines at the time. In 2001 Faema celebrated the 40th anniversary of the E61 by re-releasing this iconic machine, paying homage to a piece of espresso history.
