The cup platform is made of solid, die-cast zinc, chrome-plated and hand-polished to create a highlight in a class of its own. It is manufactured in several complex steps with an immense amount of skill and attention to detail.
Chrome front
The machine’s chrome-plated, solid aluminium front panel undulates gracefully, providing a discreet setting for the controls and at the same time making an irresistible visual impression. Designer Werner Zemp took his inspiration from the sensuous, organic shape of the coffee bean itself.
